LA-Sen:
     Mary Landrieu (D-inc): >$1.5M raised; $5.4M CoH

The John Kennedy campaign is now claiming that they outraised Landrieu by a hair ($1.51M), after previously claiming to have brought in $1.48M in the second quarter.

MN-Sen:
     Al Franken (D): $2.26M raised; $4M CoH

     Norm Coleman (R-inc): $2.35M raised; $7.2M CoH

KY-Sen:
     Mitch McConnell (R-inc): >$3M raised; $9M CoH

FL-24:
     Tom Feeney (R-inc): >$400K raised; $780K CoH

This is the second quarter in a row where Feeney has been out-hustled by Democrat Suzanne Kosmas. Nice work.

VA-10:
Judy Feder (D): $320K raised; $812K CoH (press release)

VA-11:
     Gerry Connolly (D): $300K CoH

     Keith Fimian (R): >$1M CoH

TX-23:
     Ciro Rodriguez (D-inc): >$300K raised; $1.2M CoH

     Lyle Larson (R): $263K raised; $277K CoH

CO-02:
     Will Shafroth (D): $280K raised; $736K CoH

Another impressive haul for Franken
That race will be close in every respect and it will go down to the wire. Also I think we have a real good shot at FL-24. Kosmas is a very impressive candidate.

And one more thing. I don't know how much COH Bruce Lunsford has right now but once he gets that total he should loan his campaign the difference between his COH and Mitch's so that the race starts out even. Like what Watts did in Texas before he dropped out. Lunsford has something between 30 and 110 million dollars. He could afford it and if he wants to win he needs to do that.

Hmm
Landrieu and Franken have surprisingly good numbers. Landrieu probably will not have too much trouble against the less than stellar recruit of Kennedy. Franken will have a tough time against Coleman, but will have the resources to compete.

Franken is going to need every dollar
But some people are writing him off far, far too quickly. Even if Ventura gets in.

Agree completely.
If Ventura runs it will complicate things greatly, but Franken has a good shot regardless.  He's hit a rough couple months but he will rebound.

My thoughts...
Nice number for Ciro Rodriguez.  He's known to be a poor fundraiser and campaigner.  Good to see he's taking things seriously this time.  He should win that race easily.

Amazing number for Feder.  I'm getting more optimistic about VA-10.

Despite the VA-11 cash advantage for Fimian I have no doubts that Connolly will win handily.

Go Suzanne!  Great to see she outraised Feeney again in my district.  I guarantee that FL-24 will be a tossup by election day.

Mary Landrieu needs to pick up the pace a bit in LA.  Though it's not a terrible quarter.

VA-11
Fimian is a cookie-cutter conservative trying to hide his right-wing views. Check out his website -- no mention of issues whatsoever, just anti-tax sloganeering and "Democrat primary".

Some early NH numbers for you:
NH-Sen: Jeanne Shaheen raised "more than $1.6 million" in Q2, while Senator Sunoco pulled in "another million dollar-plus quarter". Likely that means she beat him for the second quarter in a row.  He's got way more CoH, though, because he has done next to no campaigning, and he's been an incumbent for six years.

Also, in NH-02, Hodes has rasied $250K w/ almost a million CoH, about double where Charlie Bass was at this time last cycle.

Numbers for her are not out yet... n/t

Some thoughts...
Bruce Lunsford is going to have to really step it up if he wants to be competitive in November against Mitch McConnell. At least he is a self-funding candidate who seems willing to put his millions where his mouth is. I think Kentuckians would be willing to toss McConnell out, but $9 million CoH indicates this one will be a difficult fight. I still think this will ultimately be a competitive race.

Wow. Another good quarter for Al Franken. I'm glad he's been able to keep up with Coleman. Luckily, I think Jesse Ventura will ultimately sit this one out. He's just trying to stir up publicity for his book with all the talk of entering the race.

In VA-11, I wonder how much of Keith Fimian's CoH total includes personal loans.

GA SEN
