It's Monkey Mail Time

Posted by DavidNYC

Just thought I'd share an amusing bit of monkey mail that landed in my inbox overnight (original formatting preserved):

It creeps you out about Curt Weldon. No if you even had anything that resembled a brain in your head. Sestak being supported heavily by moveon.org and crew and of course George Soros is the creepy thing.
Your all over Weldon for talking about moon. But it tells us where you come from. Doesn't bother you that Soros was a large backer of the Lynne Stewart defense fund. Michael Moore just a total nut. What should creep you out the most is looking at yourself in a mirror.

Ah, I love the smell of lunatic desperation in the morning. Smells like victory.

Wedding Bells

Posted by DavidNYC

Believe it or not, I'm getting married on Saturday - just two days from now. I'm headed out on my honeymoon very shortly thereafter, and while I'm gone, I plan on getting nowhere near a computer - I just want total vacation bliss. So during my absence, you'll be in the hands of your trusty contributing editors, led by the stalwart James L. I know we've got several big primaries coming up in a wide range of states, so have fun!

DONE!!!

Posted by DavidNYC

I am done with the New York bar exam! Finished! Complete! Finito! Hooray! I can't believe it!

Thank you SO much to everyone who wished me well and offered me moral support (and test-taking advice) throughout this whole long slog. It really meant a great deal to me. And, needless to say, I am thrilled to be done.

I also owe special thanks to James and RBH for keeping the site humming while I was busy (and sometimes not so busy) studying. Of course, I hope and expect that both of them will stay on and keep contributing.

Thanks again to all of you!

Graduation

Posted by DavidNYC

I officially graduated today. Unbelievable. Chief Justice John Roberts was our graduation speaker, and he gave a very good speech - funny, self-effacing, struck all the right notes. The weather - which threatened rain - held out and wound up being perfect. And amazingly enough, I got my sheepskin, which makes me a Juris Doctor. Tomorrow, I move back to NYC permanently. I can't wait!

Done!

Posted by DavidNYC

I am DONE WITH LAW SCHOOL! I can hardly believe it! Three years have just flown by. I finished my last exam a few hours ago, and I officially graduate in a week. What's also amazing to me is that I started this blog shortly after I began law school, and I've managed to keep it running the entire time - but only, of course, with the help of several guest posters.

Anyhow, I'm grateful to all of you for your loyal readership this past years, and for putting up with me when I whined about exams, papers, the job search, etc. So thank you!

UPDATE: I'm moving back up to NYC tomorrow, so posting will be slow until I'm settled in.
