New Hotline House Race Rankings Out

Posted by DavidNYC

Chuck Todd's newest House race rankings are available here. Five netroots candidates make the list (previous rankings in parens):

15 (26) Patrick Murphy
16 (17) Joe Sestak
19 (24) Darcy Burner
46 (--) Paul Hodes
50 (49) Jerry McNerney

Hodes is back after being dropped from the previous list. And bullish jumps for Burner and especially Murphy. If you disagree with Todd's rankings, fill out the reader rankings in the left-hand sidebar. (Results are here.)

Doesn't really matter if this disappears into the ether because all I have to say is yippee.

A little bit of math: 40 of the 50 seats are GOP held seats. The top 13 races are all GOP held seats. Only 1 of the top 21 races is a Dem held seat. Of those 10 Dem held seats only 4 are in the top 30.

MN-01 is ranked 39th in these most recent rankings.
The awesome candidate there, Tim Walz is not a DCCC "Red to Blue" candidate and is facing incompotent Republican Gil Gutknecht (see Wikipedia, Signatures, War in Iraq, Immigration).
This is a race the Netroots should jump on, the difference it would make would be huge.
