CT-Sen: Shhh!

Posted by DavidNYC

This is pretty funny. Lieberman's plodding build-up to his oh-so-obvious non-joke at the end is just brutal. The crickets are more than appropriate.

Looks like another member of Team Bush is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons....

Basically, Homeland Security Press Secretary Brian Doyle is soliciting 14-year-old girls for sex online and got caught. Doylie, you're doing a heckuva job!

Sorry to go off topic, but I couldn't resist the snark. Seriously though, I wonder how long it'll be until Bush pins a medal on this guy.....

I'm sure it's just a liberal prosecutor's fault... you know, like Ronnie Earle.

Yes, he was on the ticket, DA, but who knows what might have happened if he hadn't been?

I think Lieberman used up his expectations of respect from Democrats (at least at the level required to refrain from posting videos like this) a long time ago.

Lieberman looks a lot like my dad, so it's even more sad to watch how pathetic he is. I'm almost at a point where I feel sorry for him. Almost.

He made an incorrect statement in his speech. He said that we haven't elected a Democratic President AND VICE PRESIDENT since 2000. While he is right about the President part-- Gore is a Democrat, for sure-- he's wrong about the VP part, 'cause he is no Democrat!

Sorry, but that was as much of a groaner as Lieberman's "joke". :P

When you show respect to someone who doesn't respect you, that's the hallmark of an abusive relationship. It calls to mind Tony Blair's lapdog relationship to George Bush - and yes, Joe Lieberman's similar relationship with Bush. I don't want to be like either of those guys.
