The only really significant things about this race are 1) online donations for Hackett have been extraordinary - somewhere north of 400K in short order, and 2) the absolute "bleh" that Schmidt inspires in her voters.

What amused me is that Mike says "we don't know much about Hackett's views" (except that he's anti-Bush), and yet Erick says Hackett is a "far-left Democrat." Goes to show you how they throw around those ideological labels without really caring if there's anything to back them up. "Trust us, he's left of Ted Kennedy - now go vote against him, hurry!"
