These are appalling numbers. But it seems way premature to say Lieberman is "in trouble" when he enjoys overwhelming support from both parties. As nice as it would be if all his Democratic supporters would do a 180 the moment they realized Republicans like him too, I need to see something more than this to buy it.

I have a very strong feeling that among likely CT Dem primary voters - ie, the "most liberal" and most activist segment of the party - Lieberman's numbers are a lot uglier. It's hard to poll a group like that so far in advance, but I definitely think a serious challenge could be mounted.
