Up Next: Wisconsin

Posted by DavidNYC

Crossing Lake Michigan, we head to Wisconsin, another Dem swing state. Questions, comments and smart remarks greatly appreciated.

I am a California resident but I go to school in Wisconsin. Which state should I vote in for Kerry? Where would my vote count the most? I assume Wisconsin, but we do have a Republican governor so I don't know what to do.

Wisconsin - no question about it. And encourage your classmates and friends (if they are from non-swing states) to also register in Wisconsin.

Let me see....

I work for an educational institution.....
Mrs. Kerry does not think that teaching is a real job.
Am I now allowed to ask for unemployment?

Let me see:

Mrs. Kerry does not want us to see her and the president's tax returns from the past 5 years....
They paid half as much tax as any other person in their billionaire class.
They now want Wisconsinites to pay for their living expenses for the next 4 years and give them a new house...The White House....
John Kerry doe not believe in marriage...his first wife divorced him as she was tired of having people try to hurt her and her children - the 2 girls of John Kerry.
I think we can't allow someone in the white house who does not pay their fair share; wants Wisconsin members to now pay their lodging expenses; and won't even protect their family rights....

Aha, I see the Wingnut talking points ar out:

I work for an educational institution.....
Mrs. Kerry does not think that teaching is a real job.

A lie, plain and simple. But if you want people who don't think teaching is a real job, who out of their way to knock teachers, you need to look no further than Wingnuts.

Mrs. Kerry does not want us to see her and the president's tax returns from the past 5 years....

A lie. The total line items on the 1040 are fully disclosed.

They paid half as much tax as any other person in their billionaire class.

Another lie. In the first place, no statistics exist on how many taxes billionaries pay. In THK's case, she buys tax-exempt munis. I do too, incidentally. These are tax-exempt, but they also pay lower interest rates and have higher risks. They allow municipalties to get money for schools, infrastructure. In short, what she uses is something a lot of Americans, some with incomes well below her do, a tax provision specificailly enacted to help local government.

John Kerry doe not believe in marriage...his first wife divorced him as she was tired of having people try to hurt her and her children - the 2 girls of John Kerry.

Another lie. But lets hear how you feel about Bob Dole, Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh -- all divorced.

think we can't allow someone in the white house who does not pay their fair share; wants Wisconsin members to now pay their lodging expenses; and won't even protect their family rights....

THK does very much pay her fair share. And I would love to hear how you rationalize paying for the libing expenses of GW Bush in any case, the son of a PResident, a man whose entire life is based on priviliege.

And you seem to have no problem with re-electing someone whose lies have cost us 1100+ American lives and $200 billion in an unnecesary war.
