Group Launches Ad Against Rep. Joe Wilson

Thanks to the activism and outrage from the Netroots, the Stand Up America PAC has been able to produce the first advertisement to attack Joe Wilson for his outburst in front of Congress.

We want to air this ad in his district, but we need support from the progressive Netroots in order to do so. The goal of Stand Up America is to prevent right-wing demagogues like Joe Wilson from shifting the public debate on issues to the right using dishonest and deplorable tactics. When they do, we will target them and make the next potential demagogue think twice before opening their mouth.

There's only one way we're going to beat the Michele Bachmanns and Joe Wilsons of the world - keep the pressure on them between now and November 2010. Every time one of these jokers says something stupid or hateful, we're going to be right there holding them accountable.

Our campaign team will include Ament, who worked on the presidential campaign of Wesley Clark and the House Judiciary Committee, as well as Jesse Berney from Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential online team.

Mark Longabaugh and Neil Kammerman of Wild Bunch Media will also advise the PAC.  Longabaugh and Kammerman were the key architects of the Independent campaign expenditures campaigns that helped defeat Republican zealots Richard Pombo in California in 2006 and Marylyn Musgrave in Colorado in 2008.

I know I'm completely missing the point, but...
...why is the capitol rotunda rotating one way and the rest of the room the other way (apart from the text and Wilson)?

Bill Posey is not half-alligator...and is outclassed by Davy Crockett anyway: http://www.washingtonmonthly.c...

This is not the right strategy
the correct strategy is to tie every GOP incumbent who voted against the resolution to censure Wilson to Wilson's outburst.

That's fine
But in Wilson's own district, this ad should be shown.
