NV-Sen: Angle Seeks to Purify Our Precious Bodily Essences

Isn’t it obvious, Mandrake?

The Assembly voted 26-16 Thursday for a bill that requires the fluoridation of water in Clark and Washoe counties.

Before the vote, Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, R-Reno, sought to postpone the vote so she could add an amendment to block fluoridation in Washoe County. …

But Angle said she simply does not like fluoride.

“The fluoride solutions used in fluoridation must not contain any quantity of lead, arsenic, mercury, or any other substance that may be considered hazardous to human health,” she said. During hearings, Angle said witnesses testified most states use an industrial fluoride that contains such substances.

  1. One of the strangest issues. Is there any better example of ideology taking precidence over commonsense?

  2. is telling me this will be one of many, many crazy entries on Angle. Congrats for your good fortune Senator Reid. This woman makes Sarah Palin look like John Cafee.

  3. It baffles me that neither did. They were probably thinking that Ensign was easy meat in 2012, but they would still have to face a Democrat in the general. They also had to consider the possibility of another top tier Republican opponent (each other, perhaps) reducing their chances.

  4. is going to be more fun than Sue “The Chicken Lady” Lowden! Too bad this nut has a 50/50 chance of winning because Reid is as popular as AIDS down in Nevada.

  5. The last no-Rasmussen polls for H Reid vs S Angle give to H Reid a positive average. Better than J Sestak and A Giannoulias. My numbers mean NV-Sen race start to be in the Leans Democratic territory (very near still of a Toss-Up).

The problem for S Angle now is the money. S Angle has not money and surely will have not. I think the fund-raising level will tell so much in what races can be competitive in next months.

Bad fundraisers until now what will have low margin for fight and can likely lose the race:

    WA-Sen: $000K D Rossi (crushed fundraising)

    CO-Sen: $756K K Buck (crushed fundraising)

    NV-Sen: $1,251K S Angle (crushed fundraising)

Good fundraisers what will figh hard. I think a big majority will lose and sure they will need more money:

    CT-Sen: $14,613K L McMahon (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    CA-Sen: $7,356K C Fiorina (loses fundraising)

    FL-Sen: $7,038K M Rubio (loses fundraising) – Open seat

    OH-Sen: $10,235K R Portman (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    MO-Sen: $5,959K R Blunt (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    PA-Sen: $8,233K P Toomey (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    IL-Sen: $6,665K M Kirk (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    KY-Sen: $2,701K R Paul (leads fundraising) – Open seat

    NH-Sen: $3,739K W Binnie (leads fundraising) – Open seat

K Ayotte can be the next loser.

Bad fundraisers until now in seats where republican are favored (- 10% for dems or worse in last no-Rasmussen polls) what will need still much more money for win:

    IN-Sen: $445K D Coats (loses fundraising)

    AR-Sen: $820K J Boozman (crushed fundraising)

    UT-Sen: $378K T Bridgewater (leads fundraising)

I think republicans have better chances for spend money.
