Laughing at McCollum.
  Meek raised almost as much!

Yeah, pretty lackluster haul!

How much
did Sink raise btw?

Ami Bera
That should make Lungren take notice.

NitPicking
Pat Tiberi is a Republican

Thanks
Typo fixed.

Meek didn't even raise twice as much as Corrine Brown
She's in the exploratory phase. He's official and has the endorsements of Bill Clinton, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Ron Klein, among others. Something's either not working in Kendrickland or Corrine Brown's posting surprisingly-decent numbers.

Well
Paul Hodes' fundraising has been lackluster at best so far. Even though all the heavy hitters came out for him...

But there's quite a difference between running for the Senate in Florida versus in New Hampshire.

It's all about Crist and Rubio
Living here in Florida I can tell you that I'm not at all optimistic about Meek's chances (or Corrine Brown's) and I plan on voting in the Republican primary for Charlie Crist. I get the feeling that the local party is hoping for a stronger candidate to appear but that's unlikely. I'll be shocked if Meek gets within 10 points of the Republican nominee.

[ Parent ]
Grab
a soda and watch the fireworks when Rubio and Crist takes shots at each other next year. I'm bullish about Meek's chances if Rubio somehow slays Crist the dragon in the GOP primary.

Likewise
Meek's chances are at least around 50% if Rubio is the opponent.
Of the polls so far 2 show a dead heat; and the other two have Meek beating Rubio and vice versa. However the poll with Rubio ahead is Rassmusen and the two with dead heats are Stratigic Vision (R), and since those pollsters are frauds and worthless Meek is ahead in the polls. Plus Meek has will have the money advantage.

So...
$2.7 million for being a jerk.  Not good, as this kind of bad behavior should not be rewarded.  Yeah, it's $2.7 million that maybe would've otherwise gone to other Republicans.  But still.  Someone who advocated for the Confederate flag should not be serving in Congress.

Any news on Democrat Rob Miller's numbers in SC-02?

It's stupid, but from a strategic standpoint it's good
A significant portion of that money would have gone to competitive races, thats worth something.  The real shame is that Rob Miller raised all that money from the netroots.  We should be smarter than that.

Enlighten Me Clemensol...
" The real shame is that Rob Miller raised all that money from the netroots.  We should be smarter than that."

What's wrong with that?

[ Parent ]
Rob Miller
Miller got 46% last year even though he was outspent 2 to 1. The real shame is it took Wilson calling Obama a liar for the netroots to start donating to Miller.

[ Parent ]
And he's still going to be outspent 2-1.

[ Parent ]
Why?
Wilson reported raising $2.7 million and having $2.6 million coh. You think Miller raised less than $1.35 million?

[ Parent ]
Well, lets looks at the numbers.
Before the influx of cash, Wilson had raised nearly 300K.  Rob Miller on the other hand, had raised 85K.

2.7 Million + 300K = 3 Million.  On top of, I predict Wilson will continue to outfundraise Rob Miller.  So even if Miller has raised more than 1.5 million Wilson has time to rebuild his financial advantage to a 2-1 ratio.

[ Parent ]
Yes.
Because he announced he had raised over $1 million shortly after the outburst, and then... we basically never heard from him again.  Couldn't find anything on SC-02 in the last month here on SSP, and if there were any news coming out, you bet James or David would've seen it.  I'm pretty sure donations dried up to Miller shortly thereafter.  We'll soon see from the Q3 reports.

(When's the deadline again for filing them with the FEC?)

[ Parent ]
15 days into the next month. So...
Oct. 15th.  Jan. 15th. April 15th and August 15th.

[ Parent ]
Do you mean July for the last one?
Otherwise one period would be 4 months and another only 2.

I'm hoping Miller raised at least $2mm ...
... but that may be wishful thinking.

Here is a good analysis on SC-5, which is a Race to Watch, IMO.

OK, I give up.
Why is Lois Lane wearing a lead box over her head?  What can be her shocking secret??

Mongiardo and Conway
Forgive me if I've missed this but CQ reports LG Mongiardo raised just over $500k. The Conway camp says the AG outraised him again.
