Take a look at GA-07
Linder's not raising money ($44K for the whole year).  His leadership PAC isn't, either.  He does have a lot of money on hand ($600K), but it just seems weird.  I would assume he'd at least raise money for his leadership PAC to build influence.

GA-07 was Georgia's most Democratic Republican-held congressional district.  Obama was held just below 40%.  And it's shifting demographically very quickly.

Jim Martin's Gwinnett performance in the runoff
was not impressive. He only got 36% of the vote.

Jim Martin's performance in the runoff period wasn't that great.
That doesn't discount the fact that GA-07 (and Gwinnett) is beginning to fall out from under the Republicans.  I'm not saying it will be 2010, but it won't hold for very long.

The eastern Atlanta suburbs
will very likely be getting a new district after the census. The Republicans will likely be drawing the map, and they'll have an interesting choice to make: concede a new district to the Democrats (the right half of the 2002 13th), or split the 7th and extend it and the new district further northeast. I'll betcha they go for the latter.

Corrine Brown prob won't meet year-end goal...
If I recall correctly, her fundraising goal for the year was $2M. She's not even a quarter of the way there.

Romanoff only 200K?
Am I wrong in thinking that's not great? Especially looking at Jane Norton's total. He'll have to do a lot better than that against Sen Bennet. Colorado isn't as expensive as say NY but he still needs to prove he can stay in the incumbent's ballpark.

He declared and started fundraising in early September.
21 days before the deadline.  So he's kindof graded on a curve.

I'm not sure when Jane Norton declared; was it that same week?

16 days
She had been officially in the race for 16 days at the end of the quarter according to the article

$2.7 mm for Joe "you lie' Wilson
I hope Rob Miller raised at least $2mm.

Why is Paul Hodes
Such a slouch? That is very disappointing again. Very impressive from Julie Hamos but she is gonna need it and then some.

That's nothing to sneeze at.
Especially in a small state.

Ayotte Outraised him
He was out raised by a first time candidate.

Sometimes
I just want to beat Lynch until silly with a rubber chicken for appointing Ayotte to the AG position. Thanks for turning a likely pickup into something we have to fight over.

Obviously Castle made a last minute decision
What, no Superdickery fans?
Sometimes I wonder why I even get out of bed in the morning!

I was saying Boo-urns!
