Harry Reid: Leave, legislator, you don't belong in this Chamber!

Roland Burris: It was not by MY ego that I was once again given government office!  I was appointed here by ROD BLAGOJEVICH, who wished to pay ME tribute!

Reid: Tribute?  He destroys politicians' careers, and makes them his pawns!

Burris: Perhaps the same could be said of all scandal-plagued politicians.

Reid: Your words are as empty as your ethics!  The people of Illinois ill need a Senator such as you!

Burris: What is a Senate seat?!  A miserable little pile of campaign efforts!  But enough talk...have at you!

Wow
You ever considered writing a novel?

This isn't my own material completely
It's a parody of the intro dialogue between Richter Belmont and Dracula in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Brilliant, inspired, genius reference!!!
RICHTER: Die, monster! You don't belong in this world!

DRACULA: It was not by MY hand that I am once again given flessssh. I was called forth by humans, who wish to pay ME tribute!!!

RICHTER: Tribute?!?!? You steal men's souls! And make them your slaves!

DRACULA: Perhaps the same could be said of all religions...

RICHTER: Your words are as empty as your soul! Mankind ill needs a savior such as you...

DRACULA: WHAT IS A MAN?!?!??!? A miserable little pile of SECRETS! But enough talk. Have at you!!!!

Really, though, it is just not the same without the horrendous voice-over. What a great game, though.

Burris Sought to Organize Blago Fundraiser

Sen. Roland Burris (D-Ill.) admitted Tuesday that he sought to raise money for then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) at the behest of the scandal-plagued governor's brother while seeking an appointment to the Senate.

Burris told reporters after the Peoria Democratic Dinner that Robert Blagojevich, the brother and chief fundraiser of the governor, sought to enlist Burris to raise money for the governor before and after the November election.

Burris said that he tried to organize a fundraiser before realizing he could not manage to scrounge up enough donors to meet the $10 to $15 thousand bundle sought by Robert Blagojevich. He later told Blagojevich, after realizing the fundraiser's lack of feasibility, that it would be inappropriate to raise money while seeking to replace President Obama in the Senate.

Burris has come under fire from state officials after seemingly contradicting testimony before the Illinois state legislature that he did not "pay to play" while seeking his eventually successful nomination to the Senate.
