ID-Sen: Superdickery

Jim Risch is an asshole:

Even without Romney’s star power, Risch has his own, very different campaign style.

At a senior American government class at Capital High School on Oct. 15, he paced across the front of the classroom. He spoke rapidly and energetically, peppered the 17- and 18-year-olds with questions and didn’t always wait for their answers. He sometimes complimented them, once saying, “We weren’t nearly as sophisticated as you kids are,” but most of the time he tried to connect with the kids by giving them a hard time.

“Could you explain to me the tax shift?” asked the first boy in the class to raise his hand during the question and answer session.

“Yoooou’re a Democrat,” Risch retorted.

“No he’s not,” a girl in the back piped up.

“Only Democrats use that phrase, ‘tax shift,'” Risch replied. “By the way, don’t be afraid to ask questions of me,” he said to the other students in the class. “They’re not stupid questions like this one over here.” (Emphasis added)

  1. that Idaho is so Republican. Larry LaRocco has been running such a positive race, but I doubt he can get enough traction to win. Why anyone would vote for Jim Risch is beyond me.

  2. We boot one Bill Sali and get stuck with another.  It disgusts me to no end that people like this can actually get elected in this country.

Here we have arguablly the hardest working Senate nominee in the entire country in Larry LaRocco going up against an absolute disgrace like Risch.  And who do you think will win this thing?  Yep, the clown will.  No disrespect to clowns intended…

  3. What a douche.

At least Idaho has the least powerful Congressional delegation in the country. They really deserve it.

  4. -Mr Garrison Asks a Question

    -Clyde answers the questions wrong

-Mr Garrison: “OK, now lets have someone who isn’t a complete retard answer the question.”

  5. can this be used by Idaho Democrats to drive up Jim Risch’s negatives, even if minimally???

Just use it to talk to your Republican friends and mention that Rammell is a viable alternative!

  6. A story like this really needs video to get any widespread coverage.  We need someone always videotaping everything said by opposition candidates.
