that both GOP candidates outraised berkowitz. and that ledoux is matching young -- only way we're winning this is if it's against him.
even though people have seemed to line up around berkowitz, i feel like i'd at least better mention that i like diane benson so damn much. a truck-driving filmmaker with a son wounded in iraq... can't say i'd mind seeing how she'd do against young with party support now that his corruption is so apparent...

We don't know...

...if Young outraised Berkowitz yet.  Berko's campaign only said that they raised "significantly more" than what they pulled in last quarter.

So I wouldn't be surprised if Berkowitz has a great quarter when he files his report.

And LeDoux did not outraise Berkowitz -- in fact, she's ceasing her fundraising until the Alaska legislative session closes this month.

Yep.

And LeDoux will be way behind in money, because she still has to beat an incumbent with a large warchest in the primary.  If she wins, she'd be in debt in time for the general.  I don't think we need to outraise Young (which Berkowitz probably did), and he has a massive legal fee sink.

LeDoux is...

Is that the Lt. Governor?  Or a state legislature challenger.  Do we have two people splitting the Anti-Young vote?  Either way, sounds fantastic to me.

Parnell is the Lite Guv.

LeDoux is a state Rep, and in the race longer.  Parnell should have Palin's support, so I'd guess that he'd be where the anti-Young forces coalesce.

The primary's in late August, so plenty of time for dirt.
